Toronto School District Home — Full Renovation & Layout Transformation
This project features a full renovation of an aging school district home in Toronto—one of many properties where families prioritize education over comfort due to limited housing options in top school zones. While the location was ideal, the home itself was outdated, with a cramped kitchen, dark interior, and inefficient layout that no longer supported modern family life.
To truly elevate both functionality and aesthetics, our team completely restructured the main floor. We removed load-bearing walls to create a spacious open-concept kitchen, doubled the cooking and prep area, and optimized the flow between living, dining, and entertaining spaces. The design incorporated French-inspired elements and seamlessly integrated high-end furniture imported by the client, delivering both style and practicality.
From permit applications and architectural planning to final inspections, this renovation was executed with precision and care—turning a “just for the school” property into a true dream home for the entire family.
